Ingredients:

  • 1 (3 oz / 85g) package Orange Gelatin (Jell-O)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Boiling Water
  • 1 cup (240 ml) Cold Water
  • 1 (3 oz / 85g) package Unflavored Gelatin
  • 1/2 cup (120 ml) Cold Water
  • 1 ½ cups (360 ml) Milk (Whole milk for best results)
  • ½ cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Instructions:

  1. Dissolve the orange gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
  2. Stir in cold water.
  3. Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish or individual serving cups, filling halfway.
  4. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set but not firm.
  5. Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water in a bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes to soften.
  6. In a saucepan, heat milk and sugar over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
  7. Remove from heat. Add softened gelatin to the warm milk mixture. Stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
  8. Stir in vanilla extract.
  9. Let cool slightly, about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming.
  10. Pour the cooled creamsicle mixture carefully over the set orange layer.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours, or until the creamsicle layer is completely set.
  12. Cut into squares or spoon into individual servings. Enjoy your Orange Creamsicle Jello!
