Ingredients:
- 1 (3 oz / 85g) package Orange Gelatin (Jell-O)
- 1 cup (240 ml) Boiling Water
- 1 cup (240 ml) Cold Water
- 1 (3 oz / 85g) package Unflavored Gelatin
- 1/2 cup (120 ml) Cold Water
- 1 ½ cups (360 ml) Milk (Whole milk for best results)
- ½ cup (100g) Granulated Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
Instructions:
- Dissolve the orange gelatin in boiling water, stirring until completely dissolved.
- Stir in cold water.
- Pour into a 9x13 inch baking dish or individual serving cups, filling halfway.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until set but not firm.
- Sprinkle unflavored gelatin over cold water in a bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes to soften.
- In a saucepan, heat milk and sugar over medium heat, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Do not boil.
- Remove from heat. Add softened gelatin to the warm milk mixture. Stir until gelatin is completely dissolved.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Let cool slightly, about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent a skin from forming.
- Pour the cooled creamsicle mixture carefully over the set orange layer.
- Refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours, or until the creamsicle layer is completely set.
- Cut into squares or spoon into individual servings. Enjoy your Orange Creamsicle Jello!
