Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (220g) crushed pretzels (lightly salted)
  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
  • 1 cup (240ml) whipped topping (or heavy cream whipped)
  • 2 cups (300g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced (or 2 cups of any preferred fruit)
  • 1 cup (240ml) strawberry or raspberry gelatin (prepared according to package instructions)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the baking dish.
  4. Bake for 10 minutes until golden and fragrant. Set aside to cool.
  5. In a clean bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
  6. Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
  7. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust evenly.
  8. Top with the sliced strawberries and pour the prepared gelatin over the fruit.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours (or overnight) until set.
  10. Cut into squares and enjoy!
