Ingredients:
- 2 cups (220g) crushed pretzels (lightly salted)
- ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- ¼ cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 8 oz (225g) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup (120g) powdered sugar
- 1 cup (240ml) whipped topping (or heavy cream whipped)
- 2 cups (300g) fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced (or 2 cups of any preferred fruit)
- 1 cup (240ml) strawberry or raspberry gelatin (prepared according to package instructions)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine crushed pretzels, melted butter, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the baking dish.
- Bake for 10 minutes until golden and fragrant. Set aside to cool.
- In a clean bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Fold in the whipped topping until well combined.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled pretzel crust evenly.
- Top with the sliced strawberries and pour the prepared gelatin over the fruit.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2-4 hours (or overnight) until set.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
