Ingredients:
- French Bread Loaf (approx. 12-14 inches)
- tablespoon Olive Oil
- /2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- /4 cup Marinara Sauce (good quality)
- teaspoon Dried Italian Seasoning Blend
- 1/2 cups Low-Moisture Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- /2 cup Sliced Pepperoni (optional)
- tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Basil Leaves (for garnish)
Instructions:
- Prepare the Bread: Slice the French bread loaf lengthwise down the middle to create two 'boat' halves.
- Pre-Toast Base (Recommended): Lightly brush the cut sides of the bread with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder. Air fry the halves, cut-side down, at 375°F (190°C) for 2 minutes to slightly dry the surface. Remove and flip.
- Sauce Application: Spread the marinara sauce evenly over the cut surfaces, leaving about a 1/2 inch border for the crust. Sprinkle lightly with Italian seasoning.
- Cheese & Toppings: Distribute the mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Top with pepperoni or other desired ingredients sparingly.
- Air Frying: Arrange the prepared pizzas in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if necessary—do not overcrowd). Set the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook Until Golden: Air fry for 8 to 12 minutes. Check at 8 minutes; the pizza is done when the cheese is fully melted, bubbly, and the bread edges are deeply golden brown and crisp.
- Finish and Serve: Carefully remove the pizzas. Immediately sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and garnish with fresh basil chiffonade. Slice into individual servings and serve immediately.
