Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (150g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup (240ml) full-fat coconut milk or any non-dairy milk
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) whipped cream (or non-dairy whipped topping)
  • Cocoa powder or chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions:

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut milk over low heat.
  2. Stir continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in granulated sugar, cocoa powder, and vanilla extract until fully integrated.
  4. Allow the chocolate mixture to cool slightly at room temperature for about 5 minutes.
  5. Divide the mixture evenly among serving cups or bowls.
  6. Place the cups in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes to set and chill.
  7. Top with whipped cream and garnish with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings if desired, then serve chilled.
