Ingredients:
- 2 oz vodka
- 1 oz coffee liqueur
- 1 oz heavy cream
- 3-4 large ice cubes
Instructions:
- Chill your rocks glass. Place it in the freezer for 5 minutes before starting. This keeps the ice from melting too quickly. Fill the chilled glass with 3–4 large ice cubes to ensure slow dilution.
- Pour 2 oz of vodka and 1 oz of coffee liqueur directly over the ice. Watch it settle at the bottom around the ice.
- Hold a bar spoon upside down just above the surface of the dark liquid. Slowly pour 1 oz of heavy cream over the back of the spoon to create a professional float. Let it hit the back of the spoon and cascade until a distinct white layer forms.
