Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (450 g) turkey tenderloins, trimmed
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)

Instructions:

  1. Trim any excess fat from turkey tenderloins. If using, marinate the tenderloins with lemon juice and honey for 15-30 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture evenly over the turkey tenderloins.
  4. Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
  5. Place the seasoned tenderloins in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the turkey rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
