Ingredients:
- 1 lb (450 g) turkey tenderloins, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) olive oil
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for heat)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) honey (or maple syrup for a vegan option)
Instructions:
- Trim any excess fat from turkey tenderloins. If using, marinate the tenderloins with lemon juice and honey for 15-30 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture evenly over the turkey tenderloins.
- Set the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and preheat for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned tenderloins in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let the turkey rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Serve with your favorite sides.
