Ingredients:
- 500g raw nuts (almonds, peanuts, or cashews)
- 50g sunflower or pumpkin seeds
- 2g fine sea salt
- 15ml melted coconut oil
- 15ml pure maple syrup
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Spread the nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet.
- Roast for 8–12 minutes, tossing halfway through, until they smell aromatic and turn a rich mahogany color.
- While the nuts are still warm, transfer them to a high-speed food processor and pulse in short bursts for 30–60 seconds until they reach a sandy paste consistency.
- Process on high for 3–5 minutes, stopping every minute to scrape down the sides.
- During the final 60 seconds of processing, add the sea salt, melted coconut oil, and maple syrup until the mixture becomes a glossy, flowing liquid.
