  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Place the minced garlic, lemon zest, and cracked black pepper into a small mixing bowl.
  2. Whisk in the Dijon mustard and honey until the mixture is smooth.
  3. Slowly pour in the olive oil and soy sauce while whisking vigorously until the sauce is velvety and cohesive.
  4. Stir in the fresh lemon juice to complete the marinade.
  5. Pour the marinade over salmon fillets in a sealed bag or airtight container, gently massaging the liquid to ensure full coating.
  6. Refrigerate and marinate for at least 30 minutes (and up to 2 hours) before grilling.
