Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour (250g)
- 1/2 cup boiling water (120ml)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup ground pork (150g)
- 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped (25g)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups chicken broth (480ml)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Gradually add boiling water, mixing until a dough forms. Knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ground pork, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper until well combined. Set aside to marinate for 15 minutes.
- In a saucepan, combine chicken broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Bring to a simmer, stirring until the mixture thickens slightly. Remove from heat and let cool.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick. Cut into 3-inch circles. Place a teaspoon of filling in the center and a small spoonful of soup base. Carefully fold and pinch to seal, ensuring no air is trapped.
- Prepare a steamer lined with parchment paper. Place dumplings in the steamer
- Serve hot with dipping sauce of your choice.
