Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (480 ml) water
  • 2 teaspoons loose Earl Grey tea leaves or 2 tea bags
  • 1-2 tablespoons honey or sugar, to taste (optional)
  • 2 slices of lemon (optional)
  • Milk or cream, to taste (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a kettle or saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  2. Remove the water from heat and add the Earl Grey tea leaves or tea bags. Let steep for 3-5 minutes according to taste preference.
  3. If using loose tea, strain the brewed tea into a teapot or cups. If using tea bags, simply remove them.
  4. Stir in honey or sugar if sweetening is preferred. Add milk or cream to taste, if desired.
  5. Add lemon slices for a refreshing twist.
