  • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters
  • Ice cubes
  • 1 Maraschino cherry for garnish
  • Orange twist (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Chill your serving glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water while you prepare your cocktail.
  2. In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, combine 2 oz bourbon, 1 oz sweet vermouth, and 2 dashes of Angostura bitters.
  3. Fill the shaker or glass with ice cubes, ensuring there's enough to chill the mixture effectively.
  4. If using a mixing glass, stir the mixture with a bar spoon for about 30 seconds until well chilled. If using a shaker, give it a gentle shake for about 10 seconds.
  5. Remove your serving glass from the freezer, discard any ice and water, and strain the cocktail mixture into the prepared glass.
