Ingredients:

  • 4 cups (480g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons (7g) salt
  • 1 tablespoon (12g) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (14g) olive oil
  • 1 ½ teaspoons (7g) active dry yeast
  • 1 ½ cups (360ml) warm water (about 110°F / 43°C)

Instructions:

  1. Plug in the bread machine and select the 'Dough' setting.
  2. Pour warm water into the bread pan.
  3. Add olive oil, sugar, and salt.
  4. Carefully layer the flour on top, followed by the yeast.
  5. Place the bread pan back into the bread machine and start the 'Dough' cycle. Let it knead and rise (about 1 hour).
  6. After kneading, check the dough texture; it should be slightly sticky yet elastic.
  7. Remove the dough from the bread pan and place on a floured surface.
  8. Divide in half for two pizzas or shape into one large pizza.
  9. Roll out each portion into your desired thickness.
  10. Pre-bake the crust for 5 minutes at 450°F (230°C) for extra crispiness (optional).
  11. Add your favourite toppings, then bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Remove from oven, let cool slightly, slice, and enjoy!
