Ingredients:
- 100g brown sugar
- 15g smoked paprika
- 8g garlic powder
- 8g onion powder
- 6g salt
- 3g black pepper
- 1g cayenne pepper
- 4 lbs baby back ribs
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 20g honey
Instructions:
- Pat the ribs dry with paper towels. Remove the silver skin membrane from the back of the ribs using a paper towel for grip.
- Combine brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create the dry rub. Generously coat both sides of the ribs, pressing the rub into the meat.
- Preheat the oven to 275°F (135°C). Place each rack on a large piece of heavy-duty aluminum foil and seal tightly to create a pressurized packet.
- Place foil packets on a baking sheet and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the meat has retracted from the bone tips by approximately 1/4 inch.
- Remove ribs from foil. Combine BBQ sauce, apple cider vinegar, and honey to create the glaze.
- Transfer ribs to a grill or under the oven broiler. Brush with the BBQ glaze and sear for 3–5 minutes per side until the sauce is bubbling and charred.
