Ingredients:
- 4 cups (1 liter) water
- 1 tablespoon dried Solomon
- s seal root (15 grams)
- 1 tablespoon dried ginger root (15 grams)
- 2 tablespoons dried peppermint leaves (30 grams)
- 1 tablespoon honey, or to taste (optional)
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar (30 ml)
Instructions:
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a medium-sized saucepan.
- Add dried Solomons seal root, dried ginger root, and dried peppermint leaves to the boiling water.
- Reduce the heat to low; cover and let the mixture steep for 30 minutes.
- After steeping, strain the tonic through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a large glass jar or pitcher.
- While warm, stir in honey and apple cider vinegar to the strained tonic. Adjust sweetness to taste.
- Allow the tonic to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice and enjoy! Garnish with fresh mint, if desired.
