Ingredients:

  • 4 ears of corn, in their husks (if possible)
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened (28g)
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Herbs like thyme or rosemary, finely chopped (1 teaspoon, roughly 1g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Gently pull back the husks, remove the silk, and smooth the husks back around the corn.
  3. Spread softened butter evenly over the corn kernels. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
  4. For extra moisture, wrap each cob in foil. If keeping the husks wraped as shown above no need for aluminum foil.
  5. Place corn on the baking sheet and bake for 30 minutes, or until kernels are tender.
  6. Carefully remove corn from the oven (husks will be hot!). Let cool slightly before serving.
