Ingredients:

  • 1 Can (8-count, approximately 227g) Refrigerated Flaky Biscuit Dough
  • 55g (4 tbsp) Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 100g (1/2 cup) Granulated Sugar
  • 10g (2 tsp) Ground Cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Open the biscuit can. Using a small cutter or bottle cap, carefully cut a hole out of the center of each biscuit to form the donut shape. Reserve the small center pieces (donut holes).
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 180°C (350°F) for 3 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  3. Arrange the donut rings in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, flipping once, until puffed and golden brown. Immediately repeat with the remaining donuts and the donut holes (which may need less time).
  4. While the donuts are cooking, melt the butter in one shallow bowl. In a second shallow bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar and cinnamon.
  5. As soon as the donuts come out of the air fryer, use tongs to quickly dip or brush the melted butter onto all surfaces.
  6. Immediately transfer the buttered donut to the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Toss or roll until fully coated. Serve immediately while warm.
