Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (120 ml) mayonnaise (full-fat or light)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) milk or cream
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) celery seed
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.2 ml) salt (or to taste)
  • ¼ teaspoon (1.2 ml) freshly ground black pepper (or to taste)

Instructions:

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, milk/cream, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
  2. Whisk until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the dressing is smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more sugar for a sweeter dressing, more vinegar for a tangier dressing, or more salt and pepper to taste.
  4. For best flavor, cover the bowl and refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before using. This allows the flavors to meld together.
