Ingredients:
- ½ cup (120 ml) mayonnaise (full-fat or light)
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons (30 ml) granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon (15 ml) milk or cream
- ½ teaspoon (2.5 ml) celery seed
- ¼ teaspoon (1.2 ml) salt (or to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon (1.2 ml) freshly ground black pepper (or to taste)
Instructions:
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, Dijon mustard, milk/cream, celery seed, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk until all ingredients are fully incorporated and the dressing is smooth and creamy.
- Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning as needed. Add more sugar for a sweeter dressing, more vinegar for a tangier dressing, or more salt and pepper to taste.
- For best flavor, cover the bowl and refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before using. This allows the flavors to meld together.
