Ingredients:
- 3 cups Rice Chex cereal (70g)
- 3 cups Corn Chex cereal (70g)
- 3 cups Wheat Chex cereal (70g)
- 1 cup mixed nuts (e.g., peanuts, almonds, cashews) (120g)
- 1 cup pretzel sticks or mini pretzels (60g)
- 1 cup bite-sized breadsticks (50g)
- 6 tablespoons (85g) unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (45 ml)
- 1 ½ teaspoons seasoned salt (7.5 ml)
- ¾ teaspoon garlic powder (3.75 ml)
- ½ teaspoon onion powder (2.5 ml)
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 250°F (120°C).
- In the large mixing bowl, combine the Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Wheat Chex, mixed nuts, pretzels, and breadsticks. Mix well.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Pour the wet ingredients evenly over the dry ingredients. Stir gently but thoroughly to ensure everything is well coated.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 1 hour 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes to ensure even toasting and prevent burning. Look for a light golden-brown colour.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely in the pan. Once cooled, store in an airtight container at room temperature.
